Our Sport Performance programs were created for individuals and teams who are ready to go all-in on their athletic career. It’s ideal for youth, ages 12 – 20, who are looking to elevate every aspect of their physical performance under the guidance of our sport performance coaches. Our Train for Life programs are designed for the adventure enthusiast who is looking to maintain their active lifestyle through functional workouts that create strength, resilience, and optimal cardiovascular health. This program is for adults 20 +.
While each workout program will vary based on your individual sport, position, and current physical condition, our athletic training plans cover all of the key elements that contribute to optimal performance, including: mobility, cardiovascular conditioning, strength, and stamina. We train indoors using state-of-the-art equipment that everything needed to dominate in your sport, increase your athletic abilities and coordination.
Our 1:1 Training is available to individual athletes in 3 month commitments to align with your fitness goals and budget. The Semi-Private Sport Specific Training is offered in 3 month increments, with options to train once or twice weekly to align with your fitness goals and budget. Your package includes: an initial assessment to determine your baseline values; reassessment every 6 weeks, 30-minute nutrition seminar every 3 months; 30-minute sport performance seminar every 3 months; Wildewood Health training binder; and 60-minute training sessions once or twice weekly. Our Team Sport Specific Training is bookable in 4-week increments, with options to train groups of under 10 kids or over 10 kids. Included in this package is: a baseline team assessment and concussion screening; team testing at week one; a 30-minute nutrition seminar; a 30-minute mental performance seminar; team testing every 6 weeks; a Wildewood Health training binder and lifting journal; and 75-minute weekly training sessions.
Yes! This service is provided for those enrolled in our Sport Performance programs. Our nutritionist will provide a 60-minute session with the athletes enrolled in the Sport Performance programs once every 3 months. This nutritional seminar covers the basics of meeting your nutritional needs and fueling your body for peak performance.
As everyone’s performance goals and physical capabilities are so unique, we like to familiarize ourselves with each client during an initial assessment appointment before making a program recommendation. During this assessment, our performance coaches test clients’ baseline values using cutting-edge VALD technology. Visit our booking page to secure your appointment.
At Wildewood Health, we utilize VALD Technology to measure our clients’ baseline values and monitor progress along the way. We assess athletic speed using SmartSpeed Timing Gate Systems, which effectively measure speed, reaction time, and agility; we use ForceDecks to analyze jumps, strength, power, and asymmetry; we use DynaMo handheld devices to gauge strength and range of motion; and we use ScoreIt to produce evidence-based wellness questionnaires. We make sure that reassessments are done every 3 months to monitor progress in all our programs.
